I have no idea whether the problem with not playing well lies on the band or people. You guys think that getting a silver means achieving excellent results is it? Well, I personally don't think our standard has dropped. Why should it drop? Are there any reasons? We had practices right after mid-year..didn't we? We went for band practices though there was MT O level..didn't we? Moreover...we have practices right after our HELP programme..(I wonder why its called help)..from 8am to 3pm..do you know how tiring it is...and we carry on our practices..barely 1 hour passed and we have rehearsals...and now the teachers make a fuss on how bad we played..haven't we done enough? What do you all want from us? Our life? Please don't always think about standard...don't always think of the face that you are losing..don't always put face as the priorty..everytime you teachers come in and talk..the main thing is FACE. Have you all spared a thought for us..the ones who are playing the music!!! After a long day we have to get scolded...though we tried our best...why are you all getting so heartless. I think you teachers have a psychological problem..besides..the hall's stage is really dry...it is so confined..how do our sound go far? Again..its the band's fault huh? For not expressing our music well. Ya..everything that is bad its us. Cos everyone cares so much about face...the teachers feel disgraceful..wad about us? How do we feel? AND HOW WILL MR ONG FEEL? He is the instructor...aren't you teachers putting a lot pressure on him? Have you teachers spared a thought on how mr ong will feel? I believe no..cos FACE is the priorty. Not having enough time to practice is his fault. Right? With no time to practice..how can mr ong go through the songs before we go for rehearsals? So again..its the band's fault. Moreover..people who didn't come for band regularly..they suck totally. You guys know who you are...just get out of the band. Don't come in and play rubbish and show an insolent face to the band as if the band begged you to come. If you don't wish to go..just LEAVE!
